31 Jul KTLA 5 Los Angeles Wins 3 Emmy Awards – Station Named Best Morning Newscast
KTLA, Tribune Broadcasting’s Los Angeles affiliate, was awarded 3 Emmy® Awards by the National Academy of Television Arts Los Angeles Area’s 66th award presentation at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles.
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Annual Emmy® Awards honor outstanding achievement in the television industry. KTLA was recognized as Best Morning Newscast and received honors for the station’s “Season of Sharing” special on the Philippines. KTLA’s was also recognized for on-air promotion of their “Twilight Zone” marathon.
“We are honored KTLA has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, these awards are a reflection of the station’s hard work and commitment to our viewers and our community,” said Don Corsini, President/GM, KTLA.
