Station Also Wins Best Light News, Best Medical News And Best Local Color
June 25, 2016 – KTLA5, Tribune Broadcasting’s Los Angeles affiliate, was the recipient of four Los Angeles Area Emmy® Awards by the Television Academy. The annual Emmy® Awards honor outstanding achievement in the television industry.
Additionally, KTLA legend Stephanie Edwards has named as the 2015-2016 Los Angeles Area Governors Award recipient. Edwards was awarded this honor for outstanding achievement in television over a period of years. The Los Angeles Governors Award is the most esteemed local accolade given by the Los Angeles Area Governors Award Committee and the Television Academy.
“I’m proud of all the work we do serving the Southern California community and pleased that the Television Academy recognizes our work. I also want to thank the Academy for honoring Stephanie with this year’s Governor’s Award,” said Don Corsini, President/GM, KTLA.
