20 Jul WGNO/ABC 26 Honored with Seven Press Club Awards
Station Wins Three First Place Awards
WGNO, Tribune Broadcasting’s ABC Television Network affiliate for the greater New Orleans area, is proud to announce the station was honored with seven Press Club of New Orleans Awards at the 2015 Press Club of New Orleans Excellence in Journalism awards gala on July 18.
Editor Paul Milhet was honored for the second year in a row for his graphics and animation for News with a Twist’s Dr. Rachel: The Teaching Doctor franchise. Good Morning New Orleans anchor Anne Cutler and producer Deepak Saini were honored for a story on premature babies—a very personal story for Anne. And WGNO’s Creative Services Staff was honored for Feature Videography for a special News with a Twist report on the Bourbon Boom. WGNO also received three second place honors and one third place honor.
