Station Wins Best On-Camera Talents and Best Promotion Campaign
WGNO, Tribune Broadcasting’s ABC Television Network affiliate for the greater New Orleans area, is proud to announce the station has been honored with 3 Emmy Awards at the 2014 National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Suncoast Emmy Chapter awards on Saturday Night in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences honors excellence in television markets in the entire State of Florida, Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles and New Orleans, Louisiana, Mobile, Alabama, Thomasville, Georgia and Puerto Rico.
News Director Rick Erbach says, “I am proud of our nominees and Emmy award winners. We work very hard every day to inform and educate our viewers using non-traditional storytelling techniques. It’s awesome to see our efforts are recognized by the NATAS judges for outstanding achievement.”

Dr. Rachel Reitan was honored for the second consecutive year for her Dr. Rachel segments.
On-Camera Talent-Performer/Narrator
Eric Zurcher was honored for his weekly segments Devour Power.
