WHO-HD, Tribune Broadcasting’s Des Moines, IA station is pleased to announce it has been awarded 14 News Excellence Awards by the Iowa Broadcast News Association, with 8 first place awards, including Overall Excellence, Weather Excellence, Best Sportscast, News Photography, Spot News, In-Depth, Political Coverage and Farm and Agribusiness.
The IBNA honors outstanding achievements in radio and television journalism.

WHO-HD Channel 13, owned by Tribune Company, is celebrating 60 years of broadcast service to central Iowa.
